PAYMENT AND PREPARATION GUIDE

​By making your downpayment to confirm your charter it is understood that you have fully read and understand the payment and preparation guidelines below.

• Your 20% downpayment will GUARANTEE your charter booking with Hawkins Fishing Charters! Until you have made this downpayment your Charter date and time will not be held and could be taken by someone else.

• Once your downpayment is made, if you wish to cancel you must cancel at least 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE of the the Charter date to receive your downpayment amount in full. This is to allow Hawkins Fishing Charters enough time to re-book the date you have held. If you do not cancel at least 5 days in advance your 20% downpayment will be non-refundable.

 

• The remaining amount is due on the day of the charter. Forms of payment accepted for your remaining balance on the day of your charter are CASH OR CARD however there is an additional $25 CHARGE FOR DEBIT OR CREDIT card payments on your remaining balance on the date of your charter.

 

• This trip takes you through the local rivers of Charleston, Folly Beach, and Kiawah Island. If you have chosen a fishing charter you will primarily be targeting Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Black Drum or Sheepshead.

 

• Things to bring:  In South Carolina, sunscreen is a must during all weather. Creams seem to work better than the spray type. Bring what you plan to eat and drink (no glass bottles). Captain will supply ice and water. Staying hydrated is crucial in the southern heat. A hat with a bill and a pair of polarized sunglasses will cut the glare on the water and may help you catch more fish. Wear non-marking shoes. If you plan on keeping fish be sure you bring a cooler to transport them home, please leave it in your vehicle until the charter is complete. You do not need to bring a fishing license.​
